Aerotech Peissenberg manufactures casing parts across the entire engine. The lightweight construction of these components contributes to more efficient flying and increased environmental friendliness.
Area of use
The casings manufactured by ATP are mainly used in the compressor and turbine area.
Manufacturing
Aerotech Peissenberg primarily uses machining processes to manufacture these components, with a focus on turning and milling, and in many cases also multi-axis machining of the parts, e.g. in modern 5-axis turning and milling centers. In this machining process, the tool’s setting angle relative to the workpiece, which can be changed at the same time, enables faster, more efficient machining with the highest surface quality, particularly in the case of cylindrical or spherically curved surfaces.
